I just felt a sudden urge this morning to cut a tee and paint some triangles on it. It felt gooood. And looks great if I may say.

Triple wrap craze

So, I stumbled upon a great tutorial on how to make triple wrap

bracelets. And now I can't stop. They're so easy to make

and they look lovely stacked on the wrists.

Etsy lover

So it's my second time ordering from etsy and I'm loving it. This time I bought a vintage crochet magazine from the lovely shop veraviola. She got a lot of vintage stuff so I'm guessing it won't be my last purchase there.

Mini vacation to swiss

                                 

    Going on a little trip over easter to visit my dearest friend. Never been to switzerland
      before, so I'm super excited. See you in a few days and happy easter to you all :)                                    

All work, no play

Sorry for the lack of updates. Just started working at a new place so my crafting has been put on hold for some time. After the weekend I'm off for a few days and my plan is to start sewing ( got a cute little machine from my sweet boyfriend ) and hopefully something blogworthy will be produced ;) Been thrifting a couple of times lately and I love the feeling of finding something absolutely gorgeous for almost no moneyzz, so get ready for some DIY. I'm also superexcited for a package to come from Mandy (check out her blog here.) I signed up on one of her giveaways and got lucky. I'm really thrilled :) You can find lots of giveaways here. 

In two weeks I've managed to make a ring.

I suppose that's better than nothing ;)

Necklace, done!

Project dreamcatcher

So I was checking out blogs the other day and stumbled upon a blog who has a tutorial 

on how to make a dreamcatcher and I suddenly felt an urge to make a necklace. 

It is very easy to make and it looks like a dream when finished, don't y'all think ;) 

I also felt that this page was of good use when making it.

Driving gloves

Yay, finally finished mi gloves. The pattern, which is found here, was a 

bit difficult at first, but after a couple attempts I got the hang of it.

Try, try again. Never give up ;)

Freaky friday

Crochet your own bangle/s. All you need is hook, yarn, filling and yarn needle.

Chain 2. 6 sc in second chain. Continue with 2 sc in each of the 6 (12 sc).

Now work in a spiral, sc in each sc around.

Stuff with filling every 4 cm. Fit it around the wrist for desired size.

Push the beginning of the bangle into the other end and

sew it together.

Bangle is made ;)

Seed beading

The result. 

One triangle and four to go. A very time consuming project, this triangle took about three hours to finish. First I started out trying to make one in peyote stitch, but it looked like sh*t. So then I tried brick stitching. At first it didn't seem to work either, but after getting a hang of it: tada. Seed beads are a bit hard to work with and it's not the flattest triangle. For a more perfected look I would recommend using delicas instead ;)
